Joining a friendly, supportive team, you will help look after our sewage treatment, sewerage pumping and water treatment works equipment to maintain the highest standards for customers.
You will join the asset servicing team as a mechanical technician, a hands-on role that will see you carrying out refurbishment and repair work with in our regional asset servicing workshop.
You will be joining a dedicated team, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, assisting in making local decisions and suggesting improvements to poor performing plant.
You will take full ownership of jobs through to successful resolution and completion.
Our Client is looking for someone who has the technical knowledge and experience but who can also bring a (can-do attitude) and flexible approach to work. Ideally, you will have a relevant City and Guilds electrical or mechanical qualification and will have recently completed an apprenticeship or formal mechanical/electrical training.
You will need a good basic knowledge of health and safety on site and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. You will ideally have experience working on various water industry equipment screens, pumps and gearboxes.
