World's first 3D-printed home unveiled in France

"The Future is already here. It's just unevenly distributed"  (William Gibson) 

 

Visionary author William Gibson was right on the money with that quote. With at least 60% of the worlds population moving to cities and large urban areas by 2050 the need for well built, resource efficient, sensor embedded buildings will be essential. 

 

Here is one such project from France. AdditiveManufacturing or 3DPrinting is going to be one of the key industries of the present. Whoever takes the lead, fuses this technology with the Internet of Things IoT is going to revolutionize construction.
